HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Hartford couple has been arrested after police found their 7-year-old son running naked outside.

Police tell the Hartford Courant the boy and his 9-year-old sister had been left home alone Sunday while their parents went grocery shopping.

Neighbors called authorities after seeing the boy outside near their Barbour Street apartment without clothes.

Police say 44-year-old Jose Rosario and 32-year-old Iliana Castro arrived home about a half hour later.

They each face charges of second-degree risk of injury to a minor and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Attempts to reach them Monday morning were unsuccessful. There was no phone number listed at their address.
