Enfield (WTNH) - A rabid raccoon was found near the East Windsor/Enfield town line on Pleasant Street on Wednesday.

The racoon is the second to test positive for rabies in the area in two days. The first raccoon was on King Court, about one mile from Pleasant Road.

Enfield Animal Control is reminding all residents that it is a state law to have your dogs and cats vaccinated.

If you have any questions regarding rabies, you can contact your local health department, animal control office or your veterinarian.
