Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - One person was killed and another is in critical condition after a serious car crash in Hartford.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. in the area of 290 Sigourney Street.
Officials say the driver and passenger were trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Both were transported to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other remains in critical condition.
The two people have not yet been identified.
Police say they are investigating the cause of the accident.
