Enfield, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut man who investigates ghosts and other paranormal phenomenon has applied for a probation program after being charged with stealing a $2,200 thermal imaging camera.
Matthew Kondracki, 27, of Enfield, applied for accelerated rehabilitation during an appearance in Enfield Superior Court on Tuesday. A felony larceny charge will be dropped if he completes the program. A judge is considering the request.
Kondracki was arrested Jan. 25 after a woman told police he failed to return the camera to her.
Kondracki denies stealing the camera. He has said the manager of his group, the Enfield Paranormal Society, bought the camera for the organization and was the last person to see it before it disappeared in November.
