HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- UPDATE: Ruth Nelson has been found.

A silver alert has been issued for a missing woman from Hartford.

Ruth Nelson, 31, was last seen on February 10th, in front of her home on Farmington Ave., in Hartford.

Nelson is described as a black female, with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'9" tall and weighs approximately 125 lbs.

She was last seen wearing black clothing, back shoes, and a black knit cap.

Police said Nelson is known to be quiet and timid, and may be shy around law enforcement officers.

She has been known to hang around malls, libraries, and grocery stores.
