Police stand-off at apartment complex

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a shooting inside of an apartment complex in Rocky Hill. One woman was shot and the alleged shooter was found dead.

The incident occurred at the Westage Condominiums at 73 Carillon Drive.

One woman was shot twice in the stomach/chest area. The alleged shooter was found with a gunshot wound after a police stand-off. It is unknown if it was self inflicted.

State Police, Rocky Hill PD and SWAT were on scene and locked it down completely. No one was able to go in and no one was able to go out for about 3 hours.

The woman was taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.
