Power outages close 4 Hartford schools

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Four Hartford schools closed for the day Thursday due to power outages.

According to CL&P officials, power outages were affecting more than 70,000 customers Thursday morning.

The following Hartford schools are closed: Breakthrough II Magnet School and Upper M.D. Fox School, both located at 395 Lyme St., and Weaver High School's Culinary Arts Academy and Journalism and Media Academy.
