EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- A company devastated by weather over a year ago is now back in business.
Info-Shred collapsed under heavy snow in February 2011. On Friday, the East Windsor document-shredding company unveiled it's brand-new building.
They had to tear the whole operation down and rebuild from the ground up.
"It feels emotional and gratifying that here we are. We were able to keep all the employees and keep the business running," said owner Stacey DiPiazza, "and that's what it's all about and it feels good."
When a company is forced to close, one might expect that company to lose customers. In this case, just the opposite happened.
"Our customers stood behind us, we didn't lose any customers through the whole thing," explained general manager Jack DiPiazza. "We even went as far as to gain a new customer."
That winter, with all it's snow, left many homes, businesses, and other buildings around the state in ruins.
