Suspect wanted in series of Hartford store robberies

Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) --Police are searching for a male suspect that is connected to a series of store robberies that have occurred in Hartford over the past week.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'11" and 180 lbs. He has a medium complexion and scruffy facial hair. The suspect was wearing a black jacket with a distinctive "R" on the back and white stripes at the wrist.  He has also been seen wearing a "Bomber" style black hat with fur edging.

According to Hartford Police, all of the store robberies took place on Farmington Avenue during a six day period.

Police believe the wanted suspect is responsible for the April 5, and April 10, robbery of the Mobile Station at 519 Farmington Avenue, the April 7, robbery at the Burger King at 524 Farmington Avenue, and the robbery of a CVS Store at 566 Farmington Avenue on April 8.
