SUV on fire, driver not present

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters extinguished a car fire on I-84 in West Hartford Monday.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a Jeep Cherokee fully involved in fire on the right hand side of the road between Exits 43 and 44 on I-84 Eastbound.

It took firefighters approximately 20 minutes to extinguish.

No injuries were reported.

Officials said the driver of the vehicle was not on the scene.

State Police are investigating.
