GLASTONBURY, Conn. (AP) — A former East Hartford High School teacher is facing new charges accusing her of having an inappropriate relationship with an 18-year-old student at her Glastonbury home and the school.
Police said 28-year-old Jessica Moltulski turned herself in Wednesday after learning that a second arrest warrant charged her with six new misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. She is to appear in court Aug. 15.
She was arrested July 26 on two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and freed on bail. She resigned her teaching job after the allegations arose in May.
The Hartford Courant reports an arrest warrant says Motulski's estranged husband told the school board about the alleged relationship, and gave Glastonbury police letters his wife allegedly wrote to the student.
A working telephone listing for Motulski could not immediately be found.
