GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A police Bloodhound named Thor was called in to help find a woman who was lost in the Enders State Park in Granby.
On Wednesday, 40-year-old Joy Dilibero was swimming in the park with some friends when around 7 p.m. she wandered away from the group and became lost in the heavily wooded state park.
Police, firefighters, DEEP crews, and a K-9 unit were called to the scene to help find her, but with no luck.
Just after 2 a.m., a state trooper and Bloodhound Thor were called in to search for Dilibero. Around 2:49 a.m. they found her a mile from where she went missing. Police say she was disoriented when they found her.
She was treated at the scene for minor cuts and scrapes and then reunited with her family.
