East Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - Police responding to concerns from a relative found three people dead inside an East Hartford home Thursday.
Police are conducting what they call an active 'death investigation' at at single family home at 154 Naomi Drive.
Police officers arrived on the scene to find the back door to the home unlocked, and inside they found the three people fatally wounded.
"I felt kinda scared," neighbor Vicky Baez said. "I've been living out here for a long time. Nothing ever happened around this neighborhood. It's quiet neighborhood, nobody bothers nobody. I was kind of frightened."
Police would not say how they died, or if this was a murder suicide. They did say the deaths appear to be an isolated incident.
The victims are two adult females and an adult male who lived in the home, police said.
"Pretty nice family," Baez said. "The lady that lives there now, I never really know her. Her husband lived there with his son. But her, I never knew her, but she lived there with two other roommates."
Police went to the scene around 7:20 a.m. after someone telephoned police and said they could not contact their relative.
No names have been released yet.
