(WTNH) - Mourners will pay their respects Thursday to a Connecticut State Trooper who was killed on the job.
Trooper First Class Kenneth Hall died last Thursday after his cruiser was rear-ended on I-91 North in Enfield.
State Police say 32-year-old Michael Pajak of Enfield veered into the shoulder striking Hall's cruiser.
Thursday’s wake for Hall is expected to be attended by a large number of people. For that reason the State Police have issued a traffic advisory.
Calling hours will be held at the Carmon Funeral Home at 807 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The high traffic volume is expected to impact Route 305 in both Bloomfield and Windsor in addition to Marshal Phelps Road and Addison Road in those same towns.
Drivers are being urged to look for alternative routes.
Funeral services for Hall will be held at the State Armory in Hartford on Friday.
