Hartford water main break impacts 15 homes

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Officials responded to a water main break in Hartford Wednesday morning.

The break happened on 76 Dart St.

According to the Metropolitan District Commission, it is a 6' water main that was built in 1970.

MDC officials said 15 homes have been affected.

The break was reported just before 7 a.m. and is anticipated to take 4-6 hours to repair.
