Hamden, Conn. (WTNH) - Dozens of people are expected to line up in Hamden today for free dental care as part of a program called Dentistry From the Heart.
The Pearl Dental Care team of dentists and volunteers will provide services like extractions, fillings or cleaning to as many patients as possible until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
It's all on a first come, first served basis, and people were lining up before 6:00 a.m., well before the dental office opened.
Dentistry From the Heart has grown to include over 200 annual events nationwide and has provided more than 45,000 people with free dental care services.
