Free dental care on the big game day

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) -- You can score big with free dental care this Sunday by bringing a non-perishable food item to Columbia Dental on game day and get your teeth checked and cleaned for free.

It's for the un-insured and under-insured but no one will be turned away.

"It can cause gum disease, it can cause cardiovascular disease or many serious other health conditions so and the best way always is preventative, to prevent before it becomes a problem," said Dr. Abbas Mohammadi, Columbia Dental.

The donated food will benefit Foodshare, serving the hungry in the Hartford area.

Patients will be treated on a first come first served basis at the Rocky Hill office from nine to noon on Sunday.
