East Haven Academy will be closed Thursday and Friday due to H1N1 concerns.

East Haven superintendent of schools Anthony Serio says they've had a number of students out sick with a small number returning to school.

Out of 230 students, 80 have reported being out with flu-like symptoms. None of the children have been diagnosed with H1N1. Five teachers have also reported flu-like symptoms.

The school has provided ways to prevent the spread of flu on their Web site .

East Haven Academy is joining Guilford High School, Keigwin Middle School and all schools in Burlington and Harwinton including the Regional High school who have all closed this week due to H1N1 fears.
