Plymouth, Conn (WTNH) - The investigation into the beating death of a 19-year-old man in Plymouth last Wednesday is still ongoing.
State police say they now have two crime scenes to deal with. They have five suspects, and police are not ruling out more arrests.
Dylan Sherman walked out the front door of his home in Bristol on Tuesday, and never made it home alive. His battered body was found the next day by some hikers in the woods in Plymouth. Three more people have been arested in connection with his death, bringing the total number in custody to five.
"They beat him with a baseball bat. Four or five of them. They just killed him. That's it," said Joshua Berosier from Bristol.
"I heard the lured him out for a drink, and beat him up, right in front of his ex girlfriends house, in the driveway. Her parents were there and everything. No one called the cops. They just watched." friend Evan Baldwin from Bristol said.
Now in that driveway, the state police major crimes unit is collecting evidence.
Police arn't saying much more other than they made the arests Saturday morning. Micheal and Sarah Boilard along with Jonathan Wilcox have been charged with assualt. On top of that, Wilcox has a kidnaping charge. All of them grew up with Sherman.
"That was like my brother my best friend, and to get lured out by people you grew up with and who are supposed to be your friend, that is messed up." Baldwin said.
Two brothers from Waterbury, Michael and Dennis Guerrera, were in court earlier this week, charged with assualt. They have not been charged with murder. Read that story here.
Police are still investigating and are not ruling out more arrests.
"I hope they get them all, and everybody who knew about it. I hope they get the maximum the can possibly get," Berosier said.
"I miss him," said Valerie Brown of Bristol.
All five suspects are being held on $500,000 bail each. Police say they are continuing their investigation, and it's extremely active. They are not ruling out more arrests, or upping the charges on the current suspects.
