TORRINGTON, Conn. (AP) — A state lawmaker was among three people injured in a three-vehicle car crash in Torrington.
The Republican American reports that Rep. Michelle L. Cook, D-Torrington, was hurt when the vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a vehicle driven Rachael Anders of Torrington struck a vehicle driven by Cook. The impact forced Cook's vehicle to strike a third vehicle.
They were all treated at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and released.
Anders was cited for following too closely. She did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
