One killed in Torrington accident

Torrington, Conn. (WTNH) - A Torrington man has been killed and another man was critically injured in a head on accident.

Torrington Police say 29 year old Brian Minogue was traveling south on Winsted Rd and 57 year old Franc Guerette of Winsted was traveling north when the two hit head-on at 9:06 p.m. Monday night.

Minogue was pronounced dead at the scene.

Guerette was flown to Hartford Hospital where he's in critical condition.

The accident is under investigation
