GOSHEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Connecticut kid is making quite a name for himself with some of the biggest players in the computer industry.

He's already created six apps.

Paul Dunahoo just got back home to Goshen from Apple's Worldwide Development Conference in California.

"You know you even had really old guys, like in their 60's," Paul said, "you had everybody."

Those old guys are roughly five decades older than Paul, but he is already head of his own software company, and he's written six apps for Apple products. And he's only 13 years old.

Paul has an app for the Mac that let's you take notes in a little box at the top of the screen.

"It syncs with iCloud, which is a way that you can get content on one device," Paul said, "and as soon as you change it on one device it will change it or add it on the next."

His latest product is a grocery list app called " Basket ." You write your list on any device and then check things off.

"And then when you want to clear the items, you can just shake it, or tap the clear button," Paul said.

Even though Paul is just 13, this is hardly the beginning of his career. When he was just six, he put an ad in the paper looking for used computers. He got enough to fill the family's garage, and he modified some of them himself. However, he actually got his first computer even younger than that.

"I think I was two or three when I had my first computer, so I've been using a Mac for a very long time," Paul said.

And he plans to keep it up. He's already made $7,500 bucks with his apps, and says this is just the beginning. Next up, look for a blogging app. There are other ones out there already, but Paul says he can make a better one.
