Torrington Police look for hit and run driver

Torrington, Conn. (WTNH) - A Torrington man is hospitalized after being struck by vehicle and police are now looking for that vehicle and driver that fled from the scene. 

Police say 21 year old Jeffrey Kelly was taken to Hartford Hospital for serious leg and possible head injuries. 

According to police Kelly was getting into a parked car on South Main St. near Albert St. at 8:23 pm when he was hit. 

The suspect vehicle is described as a small, light colored SUV that should damage to its right side. 

It was last seen traveling south on South Main St.
