Terryville, Conn. (WTNH) - A Terryville man was taken to the hospital after a fire erupted in an apartment building early Wednesday.
Someone called 9-1-1 around 2:45 a.m. to report the fire at a three-story building on Main Street/Route 6.
The unidentified victim was taken to the hospital, but we don't know the extent of his injuries.
The road was closed for about an hour while firefighters put out the flames.
We don't know yet what caused the fire.
The other residents of the building got out and are being sheltered temporarily at Plymouth Town Hall.
The Terryville man was taken to the burn unit at Bridgeport Hospital.
