Art display causes a stir in Torrington

    Torrington (WTNH) - A piece of art on display at the corner of Water Street and Main Street in Torrington, depicting a cutout shape of a nude woman, caught some heat earlier this week after an anonymous complaint about the piece of art was made.

    The matter has been worked out, officials noted on Wednesday.

    The work was part of a window display, showcasing Artwell’s Salon des Refuses' exhibit.
