TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police have issued a silver alert for a missing man from Torrington.
John Ferentheil, 46, is described as a white man, with hazel eyes, 6'2" tall, and approximately 250 lbs.
He was last seen on February 1st, at 113 Linton St.
Police said Ferentheil's employer had concerns about his well-being after he did not show up from work Thursday or Friday.
Additionally, Ferentheil made statements about harming himself, police said.
Police said he suffers from depression.
He may be operating a silver, 1999 Chevy Blazer, with CT registration 675KOS.
He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans or blue work pants, and work boots covered in paint.
Anyone with information regarding Ferentheil's whereabouts is asked to call Torrington Police.
