Police search for missing Harwinton teen

Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - Police are searching for a missing teenager from Harwinton.

16-year-old Austin Cyr was on his way to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford on Thursday, March 8, however officials say he ran away from his worker and transport vehicle around 10 a.m. in the area of New Britain Avenue and Washington Street in Hartford.

Cyr is 5'5' tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with red hair and green eyes. He has pierced ears, freckles, and braces.

He hasn't taken his anti-seizure medication and may be in need of medical attention.
