Colebrook, Conn. (WTNH) - Six people were taken to the hospital after a one-car crash in Colebrook on Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 2 a.m., on Route 8 Southbound, just south of Sandybrook Road.
The 2002 GMC Envoy, driven by Darnell Batts, veered off the road, striking a wooden fence post. The vehicle then continued traveling south, rolling over, and coming to rest approximately 40 feet off the shoulder.
Batts, 36, of 1738 North Ave., Bridgeport, and Raymond Millan, 26, of 238 Second St., Pittsfield, MA., were trapped inside the vehicle. Both were transported to Hartford Hospital.
The four other passengers were taken to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for observation.
The accident is under investigation.
