Durham, Conn. (WTNH) - If you're looking for a little fun this weekend, the last weekend of September means one thing, the Durham Fair!
"We think we put on the best fair in the United States," fair president Gene Chiappetta said."
Can you sense the pride? Ninety one years strong. This fair is the largest all-volunteer organized fair in the country.
What are the big attractions?
"I like the rides, the one that goes up and down like the zipper," Jeremy Boughton of Durham said.
"The best thing about here, the rides," Isabelle Haevely of Durham said.
It's more than rides. From crafts to cows - even a chance to try milking one - there is something for every family. Oh, and the workers enjoy it too!
And who can forget. For all of you health freaks, deep fried oreos, twinkies, candy bars, funnel cakes and just about anything else. Sooo good. The fair runs through Sunday.
