Accident on Saybrook Road

Haddam, Conn. (WTNH) - Two people were injured in a car accident on Saybrook Road in Haddam.

Peter Correa, Jr. 49, was driving near the Saybrook and Aircraft Road intersection when he stopped to make a left turn.

When he stopped, another car smashed into him. Andrew Corbett, 24, was driving too close and failed to stop in time.

Correa was taken to Middlesex Hospital, while Corbett was transported to Hartford Hospital.

Corbett was issued an infraction for his part in the incident.
