Animal control investigates dog attack

CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Animal Control in Clinton is attempting to identify two dogs that attacked another dog early Monday morning.

The incident happened around 6 a.m., in the area of Pleasant Valley Rd. and Carter Hill Rd.

According to Clinton Animal Control, the complainant was walking her greyhound dog in the area when she heard a growl. Then her dog was attacked by a brown-colored pit bull wearing either a large red collar or bandana, and a smaller black-colored short hair mixed breed.

Animal control is investigating the incident.

Anyone with information regarding the two dogs or the attack is asked to contact the Clinton Animal Control Department at 860-669-1777.
