East Hampton woman remains missing

EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Jini Barnum, 30 of East Hampton, was last seen on July 28th, 2012 and remains missing, police say.

Police are concerned that Barnum, the mother of a 6 week old infant, has had no contact with her family or friends since leaving her home. The infant is currently in the care of family members.

Barnum was last seen on Saturday July 28th, 2012 at her home in the late evening. She left her home after a reported disagreement with her boyfriend at that time.

Barnum is a white female, approximately 5'2", 140 pounds with has blonde/red hair and numerous tattoos and piercings. Barnum was last seen wearing jeans and a dark colored tee shirt, her hair was pulled back and pulled into a ponytail.

Police are asking that anyone who has seen Barnum or has any information as to her whereabouts contact the East Hampton Police Department at (860) 267-9922.
