Fund, Facebook help victims' families

Middletown, Conn. (WTNH) - A fund is being created, and several Facebook pages have been established, to help bring moral and financial support to victims' families of Sunday's plant explosion in Middletown.

A statement from the office of Mayor Sebastian Giuliano said a fund will be set up at MiddConn Federal Credit Union . Donations can be made to:

Middletown, CT 06457

Donations can be sent directly to the credit union or through the mayor's office.

The Middlesex Chapter of the Red Cross has also set up a toll free, 24-hour hotline for anyone who is concerned about a loved one or who has questions regarding this incident. The number is 860-347-2577.
