Heavy police scene in Middletown

Middletown, Connecticut (WTNH) - There is a heavy law enforcement preence at an apartment complex on West Lake Road in Middletown Monday night.

Residents are asking questions, but police are not saying anything about what is happening.

One witness told News 8, “I was watching TV, you know. Heard a couple cop cruisers go by, didn't think much of it, and heard more and more. There's gotta be like eight cop cruisers that drove by. So hearing EMS drive by followed by a few more fire trucks, and I'm thinking something pretty big is going on.”

News 8: "So you came out here…"

Witness: “I saw more police, more EMS. Peeking down the street to see where it was coming from. Took a walk down here, this is what we saw. This whole place was riddled with ambulances and fire trucks, Special Task Force that showed up.”
