MARLBOROUGH, Conn. (WTNH) -- A hunter died in the Salmon River State Forest in Marlborough Saturday morning, state officials said.
The hunter was about a half-mile into the woods near Flood Road when he went into cardiac arrest, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said.
Officers used ATVs to bring the man's body out of the woods.
Authorities are still investigating what happened, but don't believe there was any foul play.
The man has not been publicly identified.
