Police search for missing schizophrenic man

East Hampton, Conn. (WTNH) - Police are asking for help in finding a missing man from East Hampton who suffers from schizophrenia.

According to police, Courtney Miller, 48, walked away from the West Side Manor Care Facility, located at 9 West High St., around 11:15 Wednesday morning.

Miller is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall, weighing around 205 lbs., with black hair and side burns. He was last seen wearing a dark blue fleece jacket, dark green cargo pants, and a gray winter hat.

In addition to suffering from schizophrenia, Miller is also non-verbal and requires daily medication.

Police believe he may have left East Hampton on foot or by bus.

Anyone with information or leads to Miller's whereabouts is urged to contact Officer Mathew Hanlon at the East Hampton Police Department at 860-267-9922.
