Rain doesn't deter Durham fair goers

DURHAM, Conn. (WTNH) -- Despite Friday's downpour, the Durham Fair was packed with people.

It's an annual tradition for schools in the town to have a day off from school so they can attend the very popular fair and that was Friday.

For starters there are some 12,000 exhibits, imagine the set up on that.

Also included at the fair are lots to eat, animals and rides.

Kenny Rogers took the stage Friday night.

On Saturday, Kelly Pickler from American Idol performs on the main stage.

The fair runs through Sunday.
