Silver alert issued for missing Essex man

ESSEX, Conn. (WTNH) -- A silver alert has been issued for an intellectually disabled man from Essex.

Richard Guadalupe, 50, is described as a white man, with black hair, and brown eyes. He is 5'9", and weighs approximately 166 lbs.

Guadalupe was last seen in Essex, around noon on August 6th. He was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, and had a large blue duffle bag.

He made comments that he may take a bus to Hartford.

Guadalupe has intellectual disabilities and is in need of his medications.
