Storm damage closes Route 157

    Middletown, Conn. (WTNH) - A section of Route 157 in Middletown remains closed after the storm knocked down trees and power lines.

    Route 157 is closed at Forest Street.

    Commuters who normally take Route 157 will have to detour down Ross Road and Middlefield Street to avoid the mess.

    Drivers are advised to avoid the area until the repairs are done.
