Durham, Conn. (WTNH) - Update: The woman died as a result of her injuries.

A woman was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Durham.

Police said a woman in her 40's or 50's was struck by a car on Main Street in Durham.

CPR was performed on the woman.

She was taken to Middlesex Hospital with unknown injuries.
