$25,000 reward offered in 2011 homicide

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a homicide committed in New Haven in 2011.

The incident happened just before 1 a.m., on December 23, 2011.

Officers responded to the area of 50 Houston St. after a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said the victim, 27-year-old Joseph Zargo, of West Haven, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
