4-year-old boy falls from 2nd story window

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 4-year-old child fell from a second story window and was rushed to the hospital, police say.

Police said that a 4-year-old boy fell approximately 14 feet from a 2nd story window at 99 Warwick Street.

The boy was rushed to the Yale Pediatric Emergency Room, where he is undergoing medical evaluation.

The incident happened shortly after 3 p.m.

Witnesses said the child well through a screen and that the incident is being considered an accident.

No charges are expected to be filed.
