5 cats die in West Haven house fire

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- Five cats died in a West Haven house fire on Saturday afternoon.
The fire department said the fire began around 2:55 PM and was under control around 3:30 PM, at 15 May Street.
No one was injured. However, the five cats, which were the family pets, did die in the fire.
The fire department also confirmed that there is considerable damage to the building.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
