6-car pile-up closes lane on I-691

Cheshire, Conn. (WTNH) - A six car accident closed down one lane on I-691 in Cheshire Friday morning for just under two hours.
State police say the passengers sustained minor bumps and bruises in the collision.
The accident was described as a "rear end fender-bender chain reaction" by police, but a Report It pic from the scene shows one car nearly on top of another.
The accident happened near exit 3 just before 8:00 a.m. and was cleared by 9:45 a.m.
