EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A fire in East Haven damaged three housing units and displaced eight people.
The fire department responded to a fire inside a living room in a unit at 330 Short Beach Road.
Upon arrival, the fire extended to the outside of the unit and the second floor.
The fire didn't reach the adjacent units on both sides but both sustained heavy smoke and water damage.
All three units have been deemed uninhabitable.
Eight people were displaced.
No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
