Beacon Falls, Conn. (WTNH) - A woman called police after she realized an antique statue on her front lawn had been vandalized.

Police were called to the Blackberry Hill Road address when the homeowner woke up and realized a statue in her front yard had been defaced.

She said the face of the jockey statue was originally tan, but noticed it had been sprayed with something white.

The incident happened some time overnight or in the early morning hours of Nov.10.

The victim said she saw and heard nothing.

Police are still investigating.
