Bear spotted in Wolcott

WOLCOTT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A young bear has been spotted in Wolcott.

Police say they are familiar with the bear that they say usually hangs around the town's golf course.

On Friday, though, the bear was spotted near Wolcott Road, on the other side of town.

The bear seems to be moving quickly and police say they can't track him because he's about a half mile ahead of them. However, they say they are not concerned.
