No Injuries reported in garage fire

Branford - BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters in Branford are investigating a fire that destroyed a garage.

According to the police department, firefighters were called to a fire at a house at 202 Alps Rd. around 3:00 a.m. It took firefighters abound 35 minutes to control the fire.

Firefighters say no one was inside the garage at the time. A nearby home sustained some exterior heat damage, but firefighters say it is livable. No one was injured.

The detached two car garage was destroyed.

The cause is under investigation.
