Car crashes into East Haven business

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A car crashed into a business in East Haven Tuesday.
According to the fire department, a car struck the Gargano's power tools showroom sideways after losing control on Hemingway Avenue.
The car went about a foot into the building. The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials said the building also has an apartment in the back, along with the sales floor in the back, but while representatives were in the building they weren't close to the showroom.
No one was struck by the car.
