Meriden, Conn. (WTNH) -- DEEP is on the scene in Meriden where a car went down an embankment near a stream there this morning.
According to Meriden Fire Department, the car went down the embankment after striking a pole near 558 Hanover Ave.
The car rolled over and landed on its roof.
After arriving on the scene, emergency personnel discovered that oil was spilling into the stream from the vehicle.
DEEP was then called to the scene.
Police said the woman inside the vehicle was wearing her seatbelt, and that it probably saved her life. She was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
